FAQ Hand & Foot scoring
Common rules questions.
How do you score Hand and Foot?
Add book bonuses, red-three points, melded card points, and the going-out bonus, then subtract every card left in the hand and foot. This scorekeeper shows each part of that arithmetic.
What are clean, dirty, and wild books worth?
Common values are 500 points for a clean book, 300 for a dirty book, and 1,500 for a wild book. You can change every value in House rules.
How much are red threes worth?
A common rule awards 100 points per red three, but some tables subtract them instead. Turn on the red-three penalty option to match your game.
What are the minimum melds by round?
A common four-round game uses minimum melds of 50, 90, 120, and 150 points. The round count and every minimum can be changed.
Does the scorekeeper save our game?
Yes. Team names, house rules, scored rounds, and the current round are saved on this device. If storage is blocked, the scorekeeper still works for the current visit.
