05 Wordle solver FAQ

Use every clue correctly.

How does the Wordle Solver choose the best next guess?

It compares valid guesses by how effectively they divide the remaining possible answers, so it may recommend an information word that cannot itself be the answer.

Does the solver handle repeated letters?

Yes. Enter the exact green, yellow, and gray result for every tile so repeated letters are counted correctly.

Can I use the solver in Wordle Hard mode?

Yes. Turn on Hard mode to keep every suggestion within the clues already revealed and among the remaining possible answers.
