FAQ Scoring questions
Before you record the play.
How do I calculate a Scrabble score?+
Add the value of every tile, apply any double- or triple-letter squares to the affected tiles, then apply double- or triple-word bonuses. Add 50 points when all seven rack tiles are played in one turn.
Can I calculate Words With Friends scores too?+
Yes. Switch to Words With Friends to use its different tile values and 35-point bonus for playing all seven rack tiles.
How are blank tiles scored?+
A blank tile contributes zero points, even after it represents a letter. Mark that letter as a blank in the calculator.
Does the calculator include words formed across the main word?+
This calculator scores one word at a time. If a play creates cross-words, calculate each new word separately and add those scores together.
